stripegenerator.com is another handy web 2.0 tool that is free to use. And it does what? Yep, you guessed it, Stripe Generator allows you to quickly create a striped background for use on your website. Choose from multiple stripe sizes, colors, background styles, shadows, and stripe orientations. Another little tool to help save you some time and create some nice backgrounds.

csstypeset.com – Letterpress For The Digital Age

csstypeset.com is, in their own words, a letterpress for the digital age. It’s also a great way to preview and test type styles for your web design projects. First, Paste in a sentence or a block of text in the left window. Next, using their WYSIWIG controls, choose your font face, font size, color, etc… Once you are happy with the results, it outputs the css code you need for your style sheet in the right window. Handy little tool for setting your type online.

Cardeo Standard Free Website Template

The Cardeo Standard CSS website template is the second in a series of free templates that are based on my WordPress themes. I made a few changes to the layout to make it better suited for a static website, in comparison to a the WordPress theme. I’m going to call this version 1.1 of the layout due to the changes. Cardeo Standard is a minimal website template inspired from Swiss graphic design.
