Check out the new Cardeo blog categories

Now that some time has gone by, I have a better idea about the subjects I like to blog about, and I’ve adjusted my categories to better suit my content. Here’s a rough breakdown of the new categories…

Welcome to the new Cardeo Blog
Well it’s been a little over year since I started this blog, so I was thinking it was time for an updated look. My main goal was to improve the typography and to make the layout more minimal.
Currently, I’m still in Beta mode and will be doing some testing over the next few days, so please bear with me. If you notice any bugs, it would be much appreciated if you could post them as a comment on this post. I’m also open to feedback on the new design. Thanks for reading!

Reviews of the book from Amazon.ca
“Gary Vaynerchuk has become a walking, talking (and oh, such talking!), webbing and Tweeting example of how believing in what you do and keeping it fun can step up your life in all ways. There is nobody I would rather talk sports with-or wine or life.” (Scott Simon, host of Weekend Edition Saturday on NPR )

“Anyone looking to supercharge their career should beg, borrow, and steal to learn Gary Vee’s techniques. He reinvented the rules to build a $60-million business from scratch-on his own terms.” (Tim Ferriss, #1 NY Times bestselling author of The 4-Hour Workweek )
“Gary is a force of nature. His authentic, raw passion and caring touches everyone. His insights into social media & his message of opportunity could not be more timely.” (Tony Robbins )
Cardeo design blog is 1 year old
I just realized that the 1 year anniversary of the blog passed about a week ago. Just wanted to say thanks to all my readers, advertisers, and fans of the blog. Feel free to post a comment if you’d like to request a post topic. Thanks!
Blog Status Update
Success! I ran into some database issues last week and had to move my blog to a new host. We’re back up and running as of 11:54pm PST on Sunday. I’ve had to disable a few plugins, until I have time to set everything back up. Sorry for any inconvenience, but this is the first step in a bigger redesign and refocus. I’m coming up on the 1 year anniversary of the blog and I’d like to thank you all for reading. If you have any questions, feel free to leave a comment, thanks.
Easily generate a CSS sitemap using Slickmap

Finally! I’ve been looking for a tool like this for awhile now. There’s always the jumpchart.com option, but it’s not free. Astuteo.com has answered my prayers, and released a free CSS sitemap tool. Here’s some additional info:
“SlickMap CSS is a simple stylesheet for displaying finished sitemaps directly from HTML unordered list navigation. It’s suitable for most web sites – accommodating up to three levels of page navigation and additional utility links – and can easily be customized to meet your own individual needs, branding, or style preferences.”
