Taco Html – Html Editor for Mac OSX

A couple of years back I came across Taco Html. Besides from being the best icon in my doc, it is a great HTML text editor. Even better, it is a free download!
Taco is definitely for people that shun dreamweaver but like having a few perks that basic text editors don’t include like: line numbering, color-coated tags, syntax checker, and a special character palette.
However, I think the most powerful feature that Taco offers is the ability to preview php files locally on your computer. This can be a great time and sanity saver when you are coding a website using php. After all the years of satisfaction this free app has given me, I thought I would give it a little plug and hopefully some of you will also find it useful.
WHOA – UPDATE! I was just taking a closer look at Taco’s website and it seems that the app is no longer Free. However, it’s only $24.95 and I would still recommend picking it up for the small price.
