Convert Pixels to Ems with pxtoem.com

Are you still using pixels for font-size in your CSS style sheets? I know I am for the most part and it must stop! Pixels are convenient, but the Em is the unit you should be using. I’ve avoided them in the past, as I wasn’t exactly sure how the units worked.

Good news! Now you can use pxtoem.com to figure out the proper Em sizes in relation to the pixels you are so used to. It’s actually quite simple, surf over to the website and select the point size you would like to use for your body copy. The website will then display the proper Em conversion, up and down several point sizes, for you. To save you more time, there’s also an option to get the CSS! This is a great tool and I look forward to using it in the near future.
